I spent many years on the quest to find happiness only to be on the continual and never ending quest of trying to find happiness. Get a great job, buy a big house, buy toys, or whatever you think will make you feel happy right at this moment. But after a while, these things become the debt and burden that weigh us down, which in turn makes us feel unhappy and therefore creates the desire to buy more stuff to make us feel happy again. Do you get it? It's a loop. So what makes us truly happy?
Everyone has a different perspective on what that might be, but the philosphy is universal. I just want to be happy in life. What does that exactly mean? For me that is where my journey began. It was important for me to make a change in my perception before any real change was to begin.
I admire the family in this video because they really cherished each other most of all. It reminded me of the pivotal change that happened to me. I have more happy memories with people than I have ever had with things.
So the real question is... What makes you happy? Please feel free to comment on what makes you most happy :)
